Kitty cat hat

I've been working away on a custom order - large throw version of my daisy blanket - as well as these little critter hats.

My little orange tabby cat is in pieces just like Miss Pig, but I'll eventually get these all sewn up. I'm saving that for last. I also only added one whisker to see how the charcoal color looked. I thought black contrasted too much, and I think I'll stick with this softer look.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. We are having unseasonably warm weather, but I'm not complaining!

    1. Thank you Luna - it always looks a little different when you have to sew it all down, but hopefully, it will keep some of it's "cuteness" :)

  2. Ah so cute! In the Christmas of 2011 a friend of mine gave me a Cat Hat just like that, instead the cat was white, the yeas and mouth grey :)

Someday I will do one like that. The cat lover inside says I need to know how to do it! Just gotta find the pattern :D

Kisses and continuation of a great weekend.

    1. Where do I begin? Christmas, kids, colds, orders, day job, life... You asked ;) I wish I had more time to devote to adding some real content. One of these days. Thanks for the note Snuggle B!

  4. I love the color of the cat! What brands of yarn do you use?

    1. Hi Hillary, Thanks for your note. I use just about any yarn I can get my hands on :)
The orange in the cat is called "goldfish" and the green is "sweet pea" both by Lion Brand Vanna's Choice Baby.

    2. It's lovely! I've struggled with crocheting in only jewel or neutral tones(I have no clue why!). I need some color in my life! I will be sure to snatch up those gorgeous colors :)
