Her daughter requested green and purple, so I worked up alternating rows with multi squares in between. Here's how it came out.
(I used Caron One Pound pale green, lilac and white.)
She asked for a scalloped edge, which I think added a very pretty touch. I hope she likes it.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Beautiful ! You do wonderful work !
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this color combo! What size did you make the squares?
ReplyDeleteHi Hillary, thanks for your note! The squares came out to about 11" .
DeleteBeautiful,I love Caron too, also I use them a lot, nice soft and the yarn looks a lot better than Red Heart,in my personal opinion. Here in Fort Worth , Texas they were on sale ( $6.99 each )last week, in Joann's Fabrics.
ReplyDeleteGreat combination,good for a girl.I like it too.Have a wonderful weekend.... :0)
I wish they would come up with some new colors though! Thanks for the tip Luna. I'll check this week's ad. By the way, I found a hat pattern on your site I will have to try :)

ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI know this post is several years old but I was hoping that you might still be able to help me clarify the shade of green you used. I can't find a "soft green" in the One Pound line. I can find a "soft sage" and a "pale green". There is a "soft green" in the Simply Soft line. On my monitor, I can't tell because it looks like a cross between the two green shades in the One Pound line. Did Caron stop making a "soft green" One Pound? I appreciate any help you can provide in solving this mystery for me. Thanks in advance.
Michelle L.
Hi Michelle, I must've had mom-brain, because you are correct. It is "pale green" not soft green. Thanks for pointing out! Hope you have a very nice night.
