Actually, I never get sick of pink. Not that I'm a girlie-girl, I just think pink, and all the different shades and hues, is a very pretty color. If you'd like to see more photos of the finished blanket, here's a link to my listing:

Have a wonderful night!
Note: This pattern is the same as the yellow and white daisy blanket. It is from a book I mention
here.
It's beautiful!! I love all the shades of pinks.
ReplyDeleteThanks SibStudio! It was a lot of fun to create. I think I may have to do another in yellow and white (daisy) on green? It's fun to try new things out. Thanks for stopping by :)
ReplyDeleteLove your work! Would you be open to sharing how you created the flowers directly on the blanket?
ReplyDeleteHi Heena, This pattern is from a book I mention here: http://tillietulip.blogspot.com/2012/09/a-great-book.html
DeleteIt's the same pattern, I just used one-color blocks and added a simple granny background.
Hi!I love all your pretty flower 🌸 squares and all the pink! My first grandaughter is due in a few months & I'm excited to finally use pink and flowers for her blanket! I have the same book, and am wondering if you could give me the motif number to save me a lot of page turning? I love your blog!
DeleteHi Maschelle, the flower motif is on page 158 (motif #114). I've done it in multiple colors, but I also like how it looks as a solid in this patchwork type blanket. Best of luck to your daughter/daughter-in-law with the rest of her pregnancy and prayers for a happy, healthy baby. How exciting!! Take good care.
DeleteI love that you shared how to do the shells on the square for the "flat" daisy! Would you share where to start on this flower? Maybe a picture of the back where you start? Your work is beautiful! Thank you for sharing with us and helping us be better. :)
