Rose granny rectangle afghan completed
I finished up my afghan this morning when I sewed the little rose to one corner. It's a nice feeling to put the last piece in place. I guess that's why I also like to do jigsaw puzzles so much! I wasn't sure how I wanted to edge it, so I opted for a single crochet in a dark rose and scalloped edge in the dusty rose.

DeleteVery pretty. The shading is really nice. Do you have the pattern?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much. Unfortunately, I don't have this in pattern form. To be honest, I don't even remember which yarns I used - it was a bit of a stash buster - but I could probably recreate something similar and get a pattern up in the near future. I'll let you know! ReplyDeleteI love the elegance of this blanket. I've never seen a blanket done in the granny "square" idea that was so elegant! The colors you chose are one of my favorite colorways for creating an elegant ombre effect! The blanket looks like velvet!
