I am having issues on the monkeys face I did the seven double crochets for the eyes now I keep getting stuck after that doing two slip stitches in the next two got that. It's the 1 sc, 1hdc, 1dc, 2trc in the next st is that literally want all those stitches in the same stitch and after the 2trc it says 1dc 1hdc 1sc do those need to be in the same stitch? To me if they are all in one stitch then the two slip stitches in the next two stitches then repeating the previous pattern it doesn't seem to fit all the way around back to the start for the next row.
The last row on the monkey face doesn't make a lot of sense either there doesn't seem to be enough stitches to make it come out the right way.
Do you have like a video at lest for the monkey face the head and ears are easy it's just the last two rows on the face that are causing issues Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07587309408554548253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5309590390780214943.post-2603638047917997352015-11-03T19:35:13.676-05:002015-11-03T19:35:13.676-05:00Thanks for the pattern! Also, this seems to be very small, not what is pictured. I am an experienced crocheter and would love to make this Monkey face for a toddler blanket I am making for my grandson. I agree with other commenters that maybe some stitches are missing. I've noticed that no answer has been provided to the commenters regarding this problem with the monkey face. I really love this pattern and hope you can clear up this problem and maybe re-write it so it will come out as your picture does. I am doing it how I think the pattern means but it doesn't come out right so I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I got round 1 and 2 and in round 3 i got from the ch 1 to the second of the 7 dc sk 1, sl. When it says sl in the next 2 sts does that actually mean sl in the next 2 sts or do you sl in the next st and then repeat the 7 dc and sl in the next stitch. I tried both ways and continued on each time but it either way it just doesn't look like the picture. I hope my question makes sense.kaylancodysmomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16724221417741202452noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5309590390780214943.post-58677442565585555242013-02-25T14:53:34.984-05:002013-02-25T14:53:34.984-05:00Happy to share it with you.
